Topic: Ruger .204

I searched for other conversation about Ruger .204 and didn't find anything.  That surprised me a bit. I have not been this excited in a specific ilk in a long time.

Anyone else out there having a good time with it?

A buddy of mine has a Savage rifle in 204, he really digs it.  Flatter trajectory and better ballistic coefficient than .223 supposedly, although I haven't actually done any looking to find the actual #'s.
Seems to be getting pretty popular especially with the "let's shoot little fuzzies" crowd so that's helping to bring the price down some.

It's becoming my favorite target rifle - it recoils so little you can follow the bullet as it goes downrange through your scope.

It's funny i saw this post today as I smoked a coyote with my 204 this morning![attachment=1]I cannot rave about the 204 enough. It shoots as flat if not a hair flatter than a 22-250 and wont blow up small critters whose furs you might want. I handload all of my ammo and the 39 grain Sierra Blitzking with Tac powder is my load of choice. I have a 4.5-14 Leupold on mine and even on high power I can see my hits. I've shot everything from whistle pigs to coyotes and on bigger critters the smack from the bullet is awesome! I watched the coyote today drop at 250ish and heard the "WHAP" a second later. Buy one, you'll love it!
