Very cool.  I expected to see all modern equipment, looks like half of the stuff is off an old battleship.

Would love to get my hands on some of those roll stamps.

Thanks!  I love the 1911 and really enjoyed that video. I'm surprised that there wasn't even more CNC work done.

It also suggests why there is such a price difference between a 1911 and a Glock or XD pistol. I suspect the slide machining is similar, but the frame is much different.

How hard can it be to have a plastic injection mold stamp out parts for a gun, compared the care and attention that a 1911 gets  :evilgrin:
