«

Am I going to be ok with 125g gold dot hollow points in .38 spl +P in an older Colt diamondback six shooter?

I am not going to tell you that it is safe, what I will say, is that +P is not what it once was.

I doubt if it will blow up, but shooting +p ammo out of my Diamondback messed up the timing.... I wouldn't do it again...

Timing is an issue over the years with just about ALL the colts. berg is on the money. your gun is set for target loads and just the occassional +p. .I would shoot six see where and howe they shoot then just carry if you need to but shoot only 38 spl.
