Shooting school for 25 anniverary
« on: December 26, 2011, 08:44:01 PM »
Not sure this is where I should put this but here goes. My wife wants to do someyhing for our 25 anniversary and she mentioned going to a shooting school. Not that we would be in the same class but at the school at the same time. She would be in a begining type class for maybe self defense and I would like to take a class that would further my shooting skills for competition. Our anniversary is in May. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Frontsight is nice for a novice, but you would be bored. It is a nice place to shoot in May and not a bad drive from Boise.

Gunsight is nice any time of year and the classes are awesome.

Problem with almost any shooting school, will be you getting into a level 2 or 3 class. Most if not all the schools I know of, will not let you shoot in the higher classes, unless you first take the level 1 class from them. Frontsight is a no exceptions place, as far as I know. I think Gunsight is the same.

Maybe a MAG-40 class would work?  I havent looked all too close at them but what little I have read or watched on Youtube seem positive.
