Maybe some of you have heard about this, perhaps many have not...regardless I'm telling you about it now! You can check out all the information in the links below but the basic summary is this: Go Ruck Challenge is ran by SF folks and reflects some of the training they do. They started out making gear (in Montana USA!) and using the challenge as a proving grounds for their stuff. They travel around to different cities for these challenges which are generally between 15 to 20 miles over the course of 8 to 10 hours. It's a team event, so you and your team/squad have to work together over the course of the challenge to accomplish the mission (whatever that happens to be at the time). Check out the pictures on their website to get a good feel for the kind of fun that's involved.

Needless to say I will be there on the July 14th class and have even convinced my dad to go as well. I should mention that my old man is right around 60 years old so dont be hesitant if your a little past your prime as well (pass rate is 98% so far...it's all mental they say). Bottom line is if you want it you can do it!

The new year is right around the corner...how many times have you heard someone or even yourself say "I'm going to get in better shape this year", "Definitely going to drop that extra few pounds by summer", "I really need to quit ignoring the weights/treadmill/bike in the garage" etc. Well make this year different! Give yourself something to be ready for, some goals to accomplish along the way and a date to put your hard work to the test. It's going to be a blast and it would be rad to have some BS members there.
