It's on his desk, will he sign it?
« on: December 19, 2011, 11:44:08 AM »

  "Of course he will"!!

If there were ever any president more predictable than this one, I'd be surprised.  The trends this administration has set on changing issues, promises, and straight up lies makes this a cakewalk to forecast.
If he veto's s1867, it will be the first time I've predicted incorrectly since he took office.  From the passage of health care reform, the closing of gitmo, moving into Pakistan, troop increases rather than reduction in the middle east, spending bills, debt ceiling, START treaty, and the list goes on...
So, if I'm wrong on this one, I'll cook cheese steak sandwiches at weekend matches until I run out of steers,(or I may do that anyway, we'll see).
WHEN he "DOES" sign this into law, those who fail to recognise what this means had better quit bickering about whose throwing spit-wads in the back of the bus and look at where the driver is headed.
And get you're game face on.
side note: a 2/3 vote gets it done anyway, so a veto is nothing more than a "campain ploy" to pander to the gullable.  Either way, It'll pass.  (win/win)

I contend that for a nation to try to tax itself into prosperity is like a man standing in a bucket and trying to lift himself up by the handle.-- Winston Churchill

"Game face" not, "war face"  but cute nonetheless.  Glad some folks are still able to maintain a sense of humor through it all.

So, The U.S is now a battleground in the war on terror.  Any American is a potential terrorist and subject to the SAME rules of engagement as any insurgent in foreign lands.  Guilty as deemed by the authority having jurisdiction(any federal agency) from here on out.  The 4th, 5th, and 6th are officially null and void.  This is history in the making.  After decades come and go, the stories of freedom and liberty in the US and the visions of it's creators will be only folklore.   :rip:
