Pizza night
« on: December 16, 2011, 11:27:15 PM »
Let's start up the new year right by having pizza night again. :headbang:,
The first Thursday in January will be the 5th.
I vote we have it at the original place at Idaho Pizza Company located @ 7100 West Fairview Avenue  Boise, ID 83704

Let's say 6:00pm.

If you have another place that is West of Fairview, located within a mile, post your pick. These aren't rules, I'm just trying to get the ball rolling.

But for a new location, you have to talk to the manager ahead of time to make sure they will let us open carry, bring toys and have a back room/ semi private room so we don't freak out the sheeple.  :sniper2:

Update: I just spoke with Tina the manager in charge and everything is a go for 6pm.
She remembered us and said toys were not a problem. ;D

As long as there is interest, this is every Thursday.

I'm definitely in. Can I wear one of those nerdy stickers that says Hello my name is Chubby? Haha

That has been brought up before.
Maybe something like

Hello, my name is [Screen Name]
A.K.A. [Real Name]

Sounds too much like an AA meeting though ;D

You guys know they have cameras in there right?  If we wear name tags with our handles and real names they will know who we are! :sarcoff:

Not sure, but, I think they are also unfriendly to carry.

How about we all open carry and go to the hippy-run Flying Pie Pizzeria establishment.  Just for fun, let's honk their silly little horn.. Do you think they will make that cheering sound like they usually do?  I just like to see their reaction.. That's all.  ;D ;D

BTW.. Isn't there any open-carry friendly pizza places in Boise?? Shouldn't we be supporting one of those??   I don't mind concealing, but it's just the concept..

That has not been our previous experience.

If you can't tolerate opposing view points and feel the need to provoke confrontation, pizza night might not be the place to be.

I dont think IPC on Fairview ever gave us any flack about open carrying before.  We had the back room and nobody bothered us, staff, other customers, etc.

Policy changed about the same time Boise Shooters  quit going there.  Both locations on Fairview are owned by the same person.  They may have forgotten about it by now.  A group of us are getting together at Jalapenos in Nampa Jan 12th.  Welcome to join us there.

Starting up Pizza night again sounds like a great idea!  Organizer wanna check with IPC to make sure the rules haven't changed?  If that doesn't work, I know the guy that owns Papa Joes and can see if we can get their back room... but it is kind of out of the way.  PM me if you want me to look into it.
