Allright, so, where were we? Oh yea.
The key word here is "fast and furious". The modern day "Iran Contra". The Cuban missile crisis and Russian cold war. The START treaty, and the recent missile defense controversy building in Europe and the middle East. It is no secret that our feds play global politics with hostile countries. I'll say again, expect more, much more coming from this story.
Have the thinkers out there considered how exactly the Iranians could have seized control of a drone in flight? Did they allready have the code and cypher software? Or, do they have to have the drone first to study the control system? If it crashed and was recovered, why are they not cutting into the thing to retrieve such data rather than putting it up on display for daily photo ops? If they allready have the guidance systems, doesn't that represent a MASSIVE security breech, or, espionage? Or even bigger, could an administration make a claim that codes or info recovered may pose a threat to national security great enough to declare war(sorry, military action)?
The patterns are always the same. Scare the crap out of everyone, gain support and funding, then blow the shit out of the bad guy in the name of peace and democracy. ...and repeat...
Or, I could be waaaaay off..IDK I don't think it's an accident.
