Anyone heard about or seen a rocket exhaust stove in action? These are badass! They are designed to have a smaller burn chamber, but operate much hotter in less space than any normal heating/cooking unit. The super heated exhaust creates a turbulent wind that then draws air into the burn chamber focusing the combustion into a smaller localized compartment. Like the firepit of a blacksmith when the bellows are running.
The temps normally burn at 1,400 degrees and can reach 2,000 degrees.
I built a small prototype and am hoping to have a full sized model in operation in time for the Parma 3 gun on the 1st.
These are easily adaptable for almost any type of heating and cooking. One of the major advantages is the length of pipe. The draft is so fast, it will literally push itself through 50+ feet of pipe and that's horizontally. No more need for roof chimneys! Also, it's smokeless once it gets to temp, and the fire is completely concealed. (plenty of heat without giving up you're position)
