Welcome to the Boise Shooter forum Redoubt2012!  Please reply and tell us a little about yourself.

First, promise I'm not a bot..   

‘bout me:  I’m relatively new to the shooting world.  I recently put together the lower on my AR-15, much to my delight it shoots wonderfully, so I'm excited to learn more.  Couple friends referred me to BoiseShooters..gotta say, really like what I've read so far.  So, for the time being, I plan on reading up on the forums.  I think, sooner rather than later, I'd like to get involved with some of the shooting events..once I can decipher what they are/how they work…any input on that would be appreciated.

Organized shooting sports are a great way to build your skill level and fun factor in shooting!!!

Saturday is a pistol fun shoot at the Nampa Range, great fun and easy going, if nothing else come out and say hi and see what it's about.

It's a lot less scary than you think!

you really only need a pistol, holster, mag pouches and mags. (Eye's and ears)
and if you are short on any of that stuff, most of us have extras.
This weekend is USPSA fun match, if you wonder over to that forum and post up what you have and what you need to borrow, I'm sure we can make sure you have a good first time.

Oh and this weekend, bring a shot gun! We get to shoot the stages with a shotgun as well. "Fun match!"
