Pentagon L2 Flashlight
« on: July 17, 2008, 12:37:35 AM »
Item being reviewed: Pentagon L2 Flashlight
Description of item: I was looking for a replacement for my G2Z and thought this might be it.  It's nice but not what I was looking for.  It's very sturdy (heavy) and can be used as a club.  It's no brighter than the two cell G2Z.  I was hoping the three cells would be brighter.
Description of review tests: Just comparing it to other flashlights in my house and neighborhood.
Pros: Very sturdy.
Cons: Heavy.  No additional modes (strobe, dim, etc).
Best Uses: When you need a bulletproof flashlight that may end up being used as a weapon.
Duration Used: Six months or so.
Where purchased:Operation Parts
Cost: About $80
Rating: 3
Q: What was the most positive result of the "Cash for Clunkers" program?
A: It took 95% of the Obama bumper stickers off the road.
