Short, but good hunting story.
« on: November 19, 2011, 08:10:18 PM »
Today, a friend of mine and I went out to Reynolds creek area in the Owyhees to show the coyotes what's up.
Windy as can be, and about 30 degrees with about an inch of snow. We pick a pretty good spot that has worked for my friend in the past. We climb out of his pickup, and start donning the cold-weather gear. Quietly. Don't slam the doors, etc.  He hands me his extra set of keys in case of whatever. I dump the keys in a pocket and continue to layer up.  About two layers later, I reach down to snap a strap around my ankle, and something in that same pocket sets off the car alarm on his key fob.  Two layers deep, mind you.

Story of my life.....................I guess in the grand scheme of things, today the coyotes found out what's up.

ha, I know how you feel except it was my dad that did it, and during deer hunting.
