Bummer!
I guess I'll look at a membership for next year.  :(

I don't know why they do that. Seems counter productive. If you let non members shoot and charge them a small amount more than members you are show casing your facility and have a chance to build membership.  ::)

We have a lot of events that do not require membership and any and all are welcome to come out and try most events we have.

This one, however, requires a membership... sometimes you got to pay to play. Why is that so bad? Membership has it's privileges.  ;D (To quote american express)

And yup, new memberships roll over to next year, so now is a great time to join.

I use to be a member at Parma and having shot out there I have to ask... how are you getting a mile of open shooting area there?  I'm just curious as the last time I was out there I think the max distance they had available was 800 meters?

Thank you guys for the information about the club membership.
We have a group of six guys that get together and shoot on a regular basis and I was thinking about coming out to one of the club events as a group but I don’t think I could talk them into a membership to shoot our riffles in November!
Have fun and stay warm, I’ll try to make it out next year.

Come on out for planned event and enjoy the company. The practical rifle matches are great, easy way to shoot what you have and have fun. IDPA is great for your pistol skills, 3 gun is great for, well having a lot of fun. Our LRTR are awesome, I'll bet if you shot one you would be hooked on them and want to come out all the time.

And btw, none of those events require a membership, just you.

See you at the range!

IGN,

Using a combination of BLM, Private and club land there are various places that offer shooting at existing club targets at 1000 yards all the way out to 2200 yards.  There's also an area near the club on BLM land that offers 3000 yard shots, however you need to take your targets with you.
