Just finished a lot of 1k with these new dies.
I can now say, I love that seater Die!

Thanks Nelio for convincing me to spend all my pennies on them.

Wish I had a 1000 brass to load. Where is the best place to get once fired brass that doesn't have cripped primers?

Don,
I use a chamfer bit in a cordless drill to remove the military crimp.  A couple secs on each piece of brass is all it takes.  I once did several hundred by hand with a RCBS chamfer/deburring tool.  That sucked.  Power tools rule.

Yeah, and if I remember the stage design (and I should), most of the rifle shooting was from one spot, so all of the brass should have been in one nice little pile!

Evans, I have been using the RCBS chamfer/debur hand tool to do the ones I run across but the primers still fit really tight. Dillon has a swagg tool but I really would rather not have to buy it or sit and do it even with a power tool. Most of the .223's I pick up have the cripped primers but that is just about all the .223 I have. I need a bunch more so I was wondering where to get once fired that wasn't crimped. The next major 3-gun match is a ways off and I probably can't wait that long. I am thinking about working the next major one.

thanks, see you Saturday

I heard Jmack had some 223 brass....(1 billion if I heard correctly)
Maybe shoot him a PM.

I took an old screw driver to a bench grinder and made a nice little cutter tool.
I only get about 1 in 10 that's crimped. as long as I look before I put it in the press, it's not to bad to debur.
For my tool I made it just a tad wider at the top to create a "funnel" for the primer.
Not much of one, just enough to get the primer started.

Shoot me a PM if you need .223 brass
