Login issue

Hey, lately when I try to log in, I have to do it twice- the first time it always tells me I've used the wrong password, then the second time it works. I verified I'm not using the wrong password by typing it out in the clear then pasting it both times.

Any idea what's going on  ???

I've noticed the same thing from time to time on this forum and another board that uses the Simple Machine software.

Ok, I tried, but nothing seems to change it. Happens on different browsers and OSs too. Oh well. It doesn't seem to be truly bad, just inconvenient. Thanks for the answers guys.

I've had the invalid password error, but only when I try to log on from the main portal page, it doesn't happen when I log in from the forum page.
