Looking for someone to fix my oven
« on: October 14, 2011, 09:37:15 AM »
Anyone here a appliance repair guy or know of someone who will do a good job ? The broiler in my gas oven still works but the actual oven portion won't fire up anymore . This happened once before 5-6 years ago but I can' remember what they had to do to fix it .

It sounds like a bad igniter.  If you're a DIYer, it's an easy fix.  If that's what it is, just go to an online appliance repair like Repair Clinic, plug in your make/model to order the igniter.  I did mine and it was pretty easy.  Come to think of it, I just called Sears for the part, since our range is a Kenmore.  Shoot me a PM if you need 'voice support' ;-)
