Thanks for the welcome! Both my wife and I were raised with guns in our hands(so to speak) but it is only in the past few years that I have been able to get back into firearms. I am personally a big fan of semi auto handguns and rifles and love to reload my own rounds. I'm wanting to look into building my own AR-15 and customizing an AK-47. Lately I've had a huge interest in gun smithing as a career choice and am determining the best place to start. If anyone has any recommendations please feel free to let me know.

There are plenty of people on this site that have built multiple ARs and AKs. I am sure someone would be glad to help you in that endeavor. Just start a thread asking for the help.
