So I was having a discussion with someone over this. Wasn't a friend so more of an argument. I was accused of being a hoarder. Because I have a supply of food and ammo just in case I guess. So I got to thinking. What if my family and I managed to survive what ever happens. What if We are the last ones for miles if not the last ones left? What was the point? I have been left out on OPs for days. That time alone is enough to drive yourself mad. Imagine if there was no one left and no one coming. So would it be worth it to have extra rations and plans to save as many as possible? I always read about people prepping but have never read talk about saving others. Why? I know the net is huge and haven't read everything, but has anyone else ever thought about this? I think I might start planning and "hoarding" a little more for just this contingent. Anyone who has been in the military knows that a soldiers true strength comes from his fellow soldiers. Safety in numbers and all. Maybe a plan to bug out and practice with a group. Run drills and such. Plan on people with certain strengths and skills. I don't know just spit balling.
