Auto Body Repair Shop Options???
« on: September 18, 2011, 06:19:25 AM »
Several years ago my teenaged daughter hit my Tacoma with my Chevy putting a nice crease down the passenger front fender.  Well I decided that I should get it repaired and am looking for several "good" places to check pricing.
The costs will be out of pocket so I am price conscience.
I saw in another post that Kadel's on Chinden and Parks Royal are good and will look for estimates at both.
Are there other repair shops that offer the same quality of work at a better price or is this a "you get what you pay for" situation?

Thanks
Pat

Hoffman's on State near 36th st in Boise is good as well.
I have had work done both at Parks and Hoffman's.
Park's is the industry leader and would be a good first stop.
Use that opportunity to educate yourself on what exactly needs to be done.
The problem with a "simple fix" like that, is they will end up painting most of the car to blend it. That is where you may find some breaks in the price from place to place. Also where you should "worry" about the lowest bid. It could work out for a few months then start to fade differently and end up looking worse...
They call me "Double J"

If you post some pics i can give you a rough idea of what it should be and what they should want to do to it.
