Click on the picture to see the six month later picture, starting at the second picture. Makes you wonder what is going on in Haiti.

The Japanese take pride in their country and culture. They have the money and willingness to get shit done. The Haitians are waiting for a handout.

I don't think the money being given to Haiti is getting to where it is needed.

It's probably going where it is needed if you define need as a politicians bank account in the Cayman's. That is, of course, after the non-profits handling donations take their cut to "process" them.
All data is flawed, some just less so.

The Japanese are a good example of what living a productive, hard-working, non-bellyaching and freeloading way of life can get you.  Where was all the rioters, looters, shootings, people crying about the miserable conditions of life?  The Japanese are survivors and don't depend on others to save them from any situation.  I have a lot of respect for them.  There is a lot of things that people in USA can learn from their culture.

Seriously, there is still people squatting and living off of our tax money from the Katrina disaster.  I wonder how many Japanese will demand housing at the expense of the taxpayers.  If people want to live near dangerous flood zones, don't you think they should be willing to suffer the consequences?

Haitian government is too busy enriching its pockets off of any donation money to care.  I was in Africa for half a year and I saw where a lot of the relief funds end up.  In the pockets of politicians, bureaucrats, police and pastors.  The people go hungry and suffer and nobody gives a damn.
