Here is my latest build.

Caliber: .280 Ackley Improved
Action: FN Commercial 98 Mauser
Barrel: Krieger .284 1:9 #3 Contour at 27"
Stock: B&C Medalist Varmint
Trigger: Timney Featherweight
Extras: Tubb's Speedloc firing pin and spring, EGW 20MOA base (in the mail), 10X IOR Valdata scope with MP8 reticle, Cerakote (thanks JMack!)

I did a similar Mauser a year ago which will go to my youngest Titus when he grows into it and this one will go to Moses. I've got another action (pre-war military K98) that belongs to my oldest Zack but haven't figured out what to do with it yet.

Me too! Got to save my pennies for dies and brass before that happens. Might be next spring at the rate this project has been going.

that is a beautiful rifle sir.  It'll probably shoot okay, which is cool if you're into that sort of thing...
