I will never be fully prepared. But, I am still going to work on trying to be.

I think when the SHTF survival tine will be measured in weeks.  I will survive to week 2 - I don't know about past that.

I will never feel completely ready, and you never know which way the Pachinko ball will fall. The only way to feel somewhat "ready" for me is to prepare for anything.  Readiness is the ability to adapt and overcome.

In a word, no. But getting there.
We did see these folks on Discovery I think, and I do like this system. You could modify this to fit almost anywhere. The downside to this setup is its stationary, but again, you could prep for it at your remote location.

Too many scenarios to be totally prepared. My opinion is that anyone who is already into prepping will fair better than 80% of the populous. In an economic collapse, the urban yutes will kill off most of those who stay in the city and we will dispose of them when they get to our neck of the woods.

Prepared mentally?  I'm pretty sure I am.  We never know what will come our way, so I'd be arrogant or overly optimistic to say I'm ready for anything.
Prepared physically?  Like many on this board, more prepared than most of the population.  Sure, there are holes in my preps, but they're getting filled slowly and surely.

Working on it everyday. pack and repack. I just want to make sure i got food to eat, watere to drink and something to protect it with, and of course a good first aid kit. Beyond that there are things you can do but it is all situational dependent. Anyone who says they are totally prepared is either RICH and setup to the gills or way over confident and most likelly won't make it. "damn it i forgot my toothbrush" won't fly.
