Border Barrels are embarking on an open-ended research program to get better accuracy out of .22 rimfire barrels. Very interesting read!

Wow I expected a site saying "tested this ammo with this barrel and it's the best". The guy running that site has put alot of science into it and very little personal bias. Actually a bit rough to read in places because it has more science than opinion. I also appreciate that he gives as much disclosure and analysis, both good and bad, to his setup and tests and results. It really is a repectable and scientific approach.

I have been working on a system to tension .22 rimfire barrels in a repeatable/predictable manner and I enjoy reading what other guys are doing to find the magic formula for the one hole group.
No-One’s daughter came out and shot a sub ½” ten shot group at fifty yards the other day with one of the new PWS tensioned ten twenty two barrels, if you ever get the chance to see either one of them shoot I’m certain you’ll be impressed.
