When does the typical prairie dog season start/end in the treasure valley area?  Are they still out?

The whistle pigs go down when it gets hot will be back up in force March through middle of June on the warmer days. Have seen them in January on the snow on warmer days, but they don't stay out for long till it gets hot.

No P dogs inthis part of the country, but if the whistlepigs are out then the season is open.
