Hi everyone. New to the forum here. I'm just your average conservative, pro-2A, friendly, hard working American.
Anywho, I might finally get to escape the PRK here in the near future and would be relocating to your beautiful state if I get the job. Trust me, I'm not one of those Cali transplants who wants to move to Idaho and turn it into CA. I'm trying to leave CA because I cannot stand what this state has turned into. I registered here because who better to get local info from than the locals? If I relocate it will be to the Boise area. Not looking to buy a house at this time. Been apartment shopping on the web for the past few days. I'll be in the area Sun-Wed this upcoming week for an interview and to scout out the area.
So....with that, a few questions. I'm looking at the Boise and Meridian area. Are there any particular areas of either of those towns I should avoid? I'm already well aware of the pro's of Idaho (very scenic, nice people, low crime rate, affordable housing, great gun laws, etc.). I'm just curious of some of the things you guys don't like about Idaho. Anything else about the Boise area I should know and consider before potentially moving here?
Also, any cigar lounges in the Boise area? TIA for any info you guys might have. Take care.
