I've heard good things about this one.
Or... You could just come shoot USPSA where we use real timers....

I have tried 5 different timers on my iphone and none worked very well. I triedd free and some paid for timers, all the same. They just don't pick up the shots well. I have recently seen some shot timers for as little as $30 and I would suggest those over the iphone app.

I have to get new timers for next years Ironman. I'd make you a heck of a deal on one.  LMK.

Tested this morning on a suppressed pistol, didn't read any of the shots  :(

We tried a timer app on msmopemans phone at the steel challenge and it was a little to sensitive.

The concept was cool but the execution was meh...

I don't own a timer.  I ran the Surefire iPhone app all last year and it worked great.  Picked up my dad's .22 even with other people shooting kinda close.  If it was pretty windy though you'd get false readings from the buffeting around the mic though...  You could set the sensitivity for quiet or loud guns, or if other shooters were near.
Hopefully they still make it.  I ditched my iPhone in February...

I agree with Nealio, I too have the Surefire app on my Iphone. Works great for me. Does have some hiccups, but all-in-all good app. ;D

Thanks! Just downloaded it so I will give it a try next time I am out. Also interested in using the par timer for dryfire because the other one I tried didn't work at all. I don't even think they knew what par time meant when they designed it! Anyway, Thanks everybody for your input.  :)
