Factory refurbished Glocks in Treasure Valley?
« on: June 29, 2011, 02:49:35 PM »
Hey guys, question posted on behalf of a friend who isn't registered here and won't be able to register here until he gets back from a 2 week trip to the boonies in Alaska (lucky bastard lol):

Does anyone in the Treasure Valley (ID part) sell factory refurbished Glocks?

My own question: is there any real advantage to a factory refurb versus eyeballing a used one? How do the warranties work on used and factory refurbs?

Thanks in advance from me and John,

I am of the understanding that a factory refurbished Glock is a most likely a LE trade in.  I have been told by those much smarter than me that LE trade in guns are a great way to go:  carried lots and shot little.

Cabelas sell the factory refurb Glocks quite often. Usually you can get a Gen 2 or 3 for around $350.00 The last batch they had were all model 23? 40 S&W's
I believe in gun control. Without control you are just spraying lead downrange.

Thanks guys.

Heck, for $350 I'd be tempted to save up and grab a G23. Hmm... (stroking stubble on chin thoughtfully)

I saw quite a few used 2nd and 3rd Gen 22/23s at OMB/Express Police Supply not too long ago for around $329.

Or this weekend Jeff has that 21SF for $410!
