Ulyanovsk .223
« on: June 08, 2011, 05:17:47 PM »
So my 3-gun AR loves that Ulyanovsk ammo that carhartfarmer so generously suggested.  But I haven't been able to find it anywhere since I bought a case last fall.  I bought some Tula black box (after some people said it "was the same") to see if it was comparable, but that and the Wolf sucks in comparison.  They won't cycle my rifle (too weak) and they group crappy.  The only think I found better than the Uly is Federal XM193 or handloads.

Anyone have any ideas what happened to this wonderful and ridiculously cheap Ulyanovsk?  Is it being sold under the "Tula" packaging now?

I know, thread necro. :-[
But his link http://www.luckygunner.com/ammo-manufacturer/tula-ammo-review may be informative.
