Well I've worked on this load and it seems to work very smooth H110 14gr small rifle primer Remington 110gr bullet. The cases were surplus from 1952 no problems. I've heard some horror stories about loading this cartidge but I didn't seem to have the issues that some were talking about on another forum.

Just got an advertisement email from CTD for .30 Carbine by Bitteroot Valley at $20.78 per box of 50, sale good 21-23 June.

For added fun try some of the bullets designed for the 30 Mauser or 7.62x25 in the 85 grain range. Or sabots with .223 bullets.
All data is flawed, some just less so.

Does your gun feed those well?  I can't get them to feed in my gun.  >:(

My only .30 carbine currently is a revolver so feeding isn't an issue. I suspect there might be some tricks with the lighter bullets as they'll be a tad short but  load pressures may play as much. I have no clue whether anyone has made the sabots work but it should be fun trying!

I be you could have a lot of fun with loads in a revolver.  What's your favorite so far?

I shoot quite a bit of .30 Carbine. It is one of my favorite plinker rounds. I read an article twenty years ago about switching to 110 grain spitzers rather than the usual round-nose.
In my extremely unscientific tests, it did learn that shooting both rounds side-by-side into a 2X4 would show an dramatic difference in the amount of damage.
I own a handful of various brand carbines, and in the ones I shot the spitzers through, I had maybe two or three malfunctions. (Always fail-to-feed)
Since the bullet weights were the same, I was able to stick with the H110 powder. (In my advanced years, I don't remember the amount of powder. That's what reloading manuals are for.)

You might look at ammoguide.com they have 83 different loads for this weapon.
