77/22
« on: May 28, 2011, 03:16:48 PM »
I was out runnin around today and stoped in at one of the places in town and found a 77/22 with out scope or rings they want $399 for it i said that seems a little high he comes back with , i checked on gunbroker and they are $599 new, but this one isn't anywhere near new i said well that is our price he says so he still has it.

Now am i just stupid thinkin that $400 for a used 22 with no rings or scope is just a LITTLE HIGH! :o

Without seeing the rifle I can not say if that is a good price or not. I have a 7722 that I bought several years ago and it is probably the best bolt action 22 rifle I have shot. It would have to be in near new condition for me to pay that much for it.
I believe in gun control. Without control you are just spraying lead downrange.

Sounds a bit high for a 77/22, period, but a bargain if it were a Winchester Model 52, 75, 61, 63.... ;)

I will just sell you a new one for $550 out the door including tax.  It will take me a week to get it in.
