Who has a .357 LCR?
« on: May 27, 2011, 09:12:35 AM »
I've been thinking about getting a little snubby that can be pocket carried, and I like the LCR. Does anyone have one in .357 mag? Is it as nasty to shoot magnums through it as I suspect it is? I'd probably run only .38+P through a .357 LCR, but if I were say backpacking maybe it'd be worth it to put some .357 in it, flash, bang, kick and all.

I can only afford 1 handgun right now (well actually, not even yet), and concealed carry around town is far more important to me than wilderness protection. Else I'd grab a 6" GP100 or a Redhawk in .45 Colt for trekking around in the boonies.

Thoughts?

Thanks in advance, folks. I may not post much here, but I do plenty of lurking.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil: For thou art with me;
Thy sights and thy trigger, they comfort me.

Thank goodness I'm too crazy to go insane

Give Impact a call, they might have one on the rental counter?
If so, that would give you a chance to shoot one before you buy one.
