President Obama announced that he would be making a rare statement tonight about national security. The news announcers are calling it "an extremely dramatic statement." You can watch a live feed of the announcement here. NY Times reporter Brian Stelter just tweeted: "NYT NEWS ALERT: Osama bin Laden Is Dead, White House Says." According to the news wire: "osama bin laden is dead, and has been for over a week, was killed by a US bomb."

According to CNN, around 9:30 pm, the major news organizations were informed that the President would be making a statement about national security. According to MSNBC: Will be speaking about a "Serious and grave CIA operation happening overseas."

According to Jill Jackson: "House Intelligence committee aide confirms that Osama Bin Laden is dead. U.S. has the body."

New sources claim that he was shot in the head and body retrieved back into Afghanistan.
Threat levels went up around 0900 this morning due to real world threats. We didn't know why, now we do.

Looks like I jumped the gun.

The al-Qaeda leader was killed in a ground operation based on US intelligence, the first lead of which emerged last August.

Mr Obama said after "a firefight" US forces took possession of his body.

Not to rain on the parade.
While I applaud our armed forces for what they did in snuffing out Osama, this will do nothing in safeguarding America.
The Muslims are infiltrating our schools, our media, and we keep funding Al Qaeda by what we buy or which country we support.

Google Earth puts the two at 1125 yards apart as the crow flies.

Less than a mile to the west of Osama's fortified compound is Army Burn Hall College, which appears to be a fancy prep school for the kids of the military elites. The compound is in the middle of a bunch of military retirees. The city is 35 miles from the capital. It's like a suburb of DC like Georgetown or Alexandria.

Nobody can say with a straight face that lots of people in the Pak military didn't know Osama was there. I doubt you can live in the neighborhood of Pakistan's military elites, right next to where they send their kids to prep school, and not be under minute scrutiny by every police and intelligence agency in Pakistan.

Ya know he was not gonna make it back for trial in any shape or form...he would have fell out of the helicopter, or the ship would have sunk, or the car blew up for no reason!! Well good for the Navy and our Armed Forces everywhere!! Got to take a little pride in the Navy part tho

#3. He is taking full credit for a military action which
was launched by a president he ridiculed for the
last 3 years, and has no game plan for the new

Why would Al-Qaeda be a puppet of Iran? Iran is predominately Shiite, Al Qaeda is Sunni.

Damn is right- I was about to post the same photos of the doctored pic. I've used photoshop 6.7, and this fraud is amature at best.
