spuds and eggs
« on: April 25, 2011, 11:06:00 AM »
love this when camping easy to make.

you need:
spuds,
eggs,

quantity doesn't matter, just get the proportions you like.

hamburger, peppers, sauage, or whatever else you want in it. i like a bit of beer in mine too, cant cook and camp without beer in hand

chop everything down to your preference

dump everything into a pan and mix it around until done, seasoning to preference.

enjoy. great for the morning after beer around the fire.

Sounds good, We precook our eggs and potateos then put in some onions... Try to keep them cool for breakfast as well as dinner. Great for back packing also. Ease in packing.  Pre cooking our meat sometimes as well finish cooking at camp....
Keep your beer cool as well as your food........Enjoy....

Yummm, I made this for dinner last week in the dutch oven.  Added some cheese on top towards the end for some sticky goodness.

I have never pre-cooked it, but I have pre-mixed it, and put it in a freezer bag.

We have this for dinner or Breakfast about twice a month . Sometimes we use Brats , sometimes Bacon , sometimes Ham and always with cheese on the top at the end ;)
