I just bought one of these things for my AR and was wondering if they really work?

they do what they say they do(except the claim of improved accuracy BS). . General consensus is that the little play between receivers isn't noticable.A 10 cent oring on front pin post does the same thing.

works but can cause the rear take down pin to be very stuborn. trim to fit your neads and it should work just fine.
JP also makes a pin that compresses the uper and lower. sucks the upper down.

for me it was more of a hastle because of how stiff the takedown pin was.

If AR-15's were meant to have accu-wedges, John Moses Browning himself would have designed them. :sarcoff:

Depends on the rifle have used them on some of the older ar's in our Dept.
does take out the slop and rattle in most cases......

Apparently the Army Marksmanship Unit armorers use them it test set ups. When everything is as desired they glass-bed the upper / lower combination for a permanent solution. I'd provide a link but I didn't think it was important enough to bookmark.
All data is flawed, some just less so.
