Topic: Glock questions

I have a Glock 19, 9mm, 2nd Gen.  I like it a lot but want to make some changes. 

1.  First, I am wondering if any of you are Glock Armorer's or experienced Glock guys or can recommend someone local to Boise/Meridian?
2.  Like many others, I don't necessarily like the Glock grip and am considering a Grip Reduction like offered from these guys.  (http://www.boresightsolutions.com/ or http://www.robarguns.com/glock.htm  or http://www.gripreductions.com/index.htm )  Have any of you done this?  Do any of you offer this kind of service?
3.  What have you done to your Glock that you think has been a great modification?  i.e. improvements to trigger pull, sights, red dots, functionality, etc.

I like the gun and the size overall, I just want to make it a bit more user friendly.  It has always been very reliable, now I want it to be more comfortable.  Thanks for your help.

Might be a little further than you liked but My friends and I have gone to RK gunsmithing in nampa for years and have always been extremely satisfied with his work and cutomer service. not only is he a great gunsmith but a great supporter of local shooting sports.

Try a Glocktail first, cheap and simple and it may do the trick... if not, then move on to the next upgrade.

+1 for RK Gunsmithing. He does a ton of Glock work. He is off Garrity on Nampa at 201 Kings Rd.

I had em wrench on my 1911 and took a Utah CCW class there (from Mike and Arron) - very happy with both transactions.

How many rounds you got through your Glock 19? I've got a M&P 9c if you'd be interested in trading to try something a little more ergonomic for you. Sounds like we're in sort of the same boat. I love mine but want to try a glock. Let me know. it's less than two months old so it's really new still

How far do want to go with it?
Do you know another frame that you do like?
Would a Gen 4 with the adjustable back straps be more like what you are after?
I'm sure RK could do anything you want.
I do know another local smith that does some custom work on glocks.
He does a lot of stippling and undercut trigger guards.
Seems to me that a Gen 4 would be the easiest way, but if you know another frame you are trying to replicate it may help.

If you get the grip reduction done, I'd love to take a look at it afterward.  My G19 has never felt quite right in my hand but I like it too much to want to switch.
