This looks very interesting; pre-made meals, portable, stackable, affordable, less sodium than many similar items but a little light on protein

Thoughts?...

I wonder how this compares, pricewise, with other packages, given that it really is light on the protein...

I think it would be nice to have a few of these in addition to the other things we keep on hand like MRE's , beans , rice , etc. If nothing else it would break up the monotony .

It looks like the manufacturer sells this packed into 4 containers. Add a couple of the series 1 and/or 3 to increase protein (chicken or beef stew).

I'm not sure, but it almost looks like on the website above you can "subscribe" to a monthly shipment service as well.

I'd read the packaging first, before you buy.

The last time I bought one of these from Costco, the manufacturer's idea of daily caloric intake was around 500 per day.
The reviews of the palatability were not good either. :barf: While an adult could stomach it if they had to, try getting a little kid to eat it that was not half starved already.

Packaging for the ARK states 2,000 cal/day, where do you get 500? Also, where did you read the poor reviews on palatability? Thx!...

Sorry, I should have said emergency food buckets from Costco.
I brought the buckets back to Costco after I read  the calorie info.

This actually looks pretty good for bug out.
You just need a way to heat it, and rehydrate the food.
