cool idea, only thing i would do is wrap the tang in 5-50 cord for a handle. shop teacher back in middle school said they used to let kids make knifes out of band saw blades they got from the saw mills.

Been working on knives for awhile now so this is a cool idea. I was thinking that it could be modified into a folding knife pretty well. I think I'll try it...
