Great budget case trimmer
« on: December 21, 2010, 03:41:03 AM »
http://www.possumhollowproducts.com/kwick-case-trimmers.html

got mine along with the power adapter today as a semi early Christmas gift. trimmed about 30 pieces of 5.56 brass in about 2 min. kicks the crap outta the lee trimmers. I also found out that the lee chamfer deburring tool i have fits inside the power adapter perfectly. Wish i had found this sooner.

Hmmm  So it indexes off the shoulder.  The overall case length is not set, only the neck length.  Is that correct?  How does it keep from rubbing the shoulder?  Or does it rub, but you can feel when it is done and stop before it rubs a thin spot?

It possibly sounds like I am criticizing, but I would love to be able to use something like this attached possibly to my 1/2 hp drill press, just press the case up into the trimmer.  Then chuck the deburring tool and do that too.

Thanks for the info!

you fl resize first. of the 200 cases i did today none of them ended up with markings from the indexing. i believe some of the late style trimmers index the same way.
