Here's what ID F&G had to say about it:"We have very few wild boars, if any, in Idaho. Any pigs sighted in the wild are most likely feral pigs. They are not an animal that Idaho Fish and Game manages--they are not native to Idaho.idfginfo"
So, those reports were from a year ago - any sightings since?
I talked to a friend of mine who is a Fish and Game Officer and he said they are around CJ Strike Reservoir and there is no season so they can be taken anytime because they are not native and not a game species in Idaho so good luck. He also had a reported sighting in the Reynolds Creek area of the Owyhees.
There may be hope yet!http://www.ktvb.com/home/Wild-pigs-becoming-a-problem-in-S-Idaho-117617089.htmlI'll have to practice my 'heeeeeeeeeeeeere piggy-piggy-piggy' call next time I'm near Bruneau
