2 stage or single?

What kind of pull weight did you end up with?

they describe it a s a hybrid not really single not really 2stage
dont have a trigger pull gauge but it spossed to be 3.5 and it feels like it to me but the travel and reset is pretty short
also supossed to have a faster lock time the hammer spring is the strongest one i have ever felt cocking it by hand it feels like its twice as strong

I'm sure you will enjoy it. I have 2 SSA's and they are great triggers.

3.5lbs, sounds like what I am looking for in a trigger for my .308LMT. I want light and crisp but don't want to go the adjustable route. I'll have to see how yours "shoots in" for you.

It certainly looks different - could you put a block on it to push the trigger face forward a bit?

I just put a Geissele Super 3 Gun Trigger in my 308. It is the curved version of the above trigger. It is non-adjustable, drop in install and so on. It isn't under the Midway exclusive pricing contract so it can be had a bit CHEAPER than the SD3Gun.  ;)

It comes in at 3 3/8LBS in my lower. The reset is short and snappy. The pull is somewhere between a single stage and a two stage. You take up the slack and it breaks. There really isn't any "creep" or gritty feelling that I can detect. You can feel that it does move before breaking but there is no wall of any sort to clue you in that the break is coming. Tough to describe but easily felt.

I don't believe that you live too far from me. PM me and you can come over and try mine. I also have a couple of SSA's installed. If you want to shoot the rifles, we can arrange that some time as well.

PM me and we can work something out.

RG,
Just curious, where did you get your Geiselle 3-gun trigger, and if you don't mind my asking how much?

Thanks

Picked up my Geisselle (Guy-sell-ly) Super 3-Gun trigger today from Jeff's and just got done installing it.

Wowzer!

Wish I had a trigger gage to test the before and after.  But based on what my finger tells me, I'd guess at least half the weight is gone and no gritty feeling.  The install was fairly straight forward but the hammer is smaller, the h-spring feels stronger, and all the means there is not a lot to hang onto when installing.

Thanks Jeff, and thanks RG and Carhartfarmer for the reccy (and biggy thx to my wife for the awesome b-day gift!)

Now to do some test-firing...

the hammer spring is super strong thats how they get that fast lock time and rate of fire ;D
