MFS Ammo
« on: October 14, 2010, 11:36:17 AM »
I didn't see a report for the MFS ammo, so I thought I'd do one.

was in sportsman whorehouse the other day and spotted this Russian made MFS ammo, zinc plated steel case 308. prices were cheap $8-9 for 20 round boxes, so I picked up 2 boxes, one is 140gr Soft Points ($9.97) the other 145gr FMJ ($8.97) went to the desert yesterday and tested them in my AR10, they shot pretty good out to 500 yards, with no problems what do ever. might have to get some more just for plinking.

I also picked up a box of their 223 ammo, but forgot to run them, will report back on them next week.

Just how accurate were they?  Did you put them on paper?

sadly no, I was busy making shooting small rocks into even smaller rocks. But I'll put them on paper next week at 600+ yards.

In the last box I had More than a couple would not go BANG!. I shoot an XD 9mm with about 3k rounds through it. The primers seemed hard. I rechambered the unfired rounds and they worked the second time around.
It is what it is
