I was wondering where all the nuts hung out when they weren't shooting. After reading a few posts, now I know!

Most of my weapons interests are of the EBR variety though I have a few wheelguns in the safe too.

I think Jeff and I are in a friendly contest to see who wastes more time at Impact. Though so far Jeff is winning.

Jeff, Erin and I talked about it the other day and it was decided that you spend more time on the range but Jeff and I spend more time out on the sales floor.  I guess that's why they put us to work (for free).  Either that or we're just that much more knowledgeable than you.  After all, what self respecting gun afficienado would shoot a Springfield XD?  ;D

I do try to astound and amaze and I don't really care much for style and taste (unless its food or women you're talking about).  The XD just kicks ass.  If you haven't seen it then you astound and amaze me.  ;)

Yup, if you want "astound and amaze" then the XD is the one to shoot. I was sold on the XD the second I field stripped an XD and then a Glock. It was like drinking a Guinness and then taking a drink of Coors Lite. The XD is stout!

Honestly, if we were going to have to choose companies fighting for the LE field of things I would rate them in the following order:

Glock
S&W M&P (but only the .45 version)
XD

I left out Sig and the others because for the most part, those three are seen as competing for the market.  I like the M&P .45 better than the XD just because it fits and points well.  Only downside is the trigger which is mushy and you don't get a positive reset on the trigger.

I like my flavor of Kool-Aid and I  think I'll stick with it and not take any of yours!
