Difference between FGMM and hand loads
« on: February 18, 2007, 01:19:59 AM »
Today I shot some of Spiff's reloads (done for my rifle).  First pic is my best group today with 168gr FGMM.  The second is my best (and only group) with the custom 175gr loads.  These were at 100 yards with little variable wind (at most 5 mph).

Obviously POI differs between the loads but I'm pretty impressed with the change.  These groups were shot within 5 minutes of each other.

Seems like a pretty hot RE15 load.  But it worked.  :)

I'm sure the trigger change helped a lot.  It seemed very heavy after shooting my rifle.   8)

45.2 of Varget seems a bit on the hot side...

I will have to do some load testing this weekend..after I am done with the hunter safety class.

Saturday is range day ;D
