Check out the Survival Spot.  It's a new social networking web site for the survival and preparedness crowd.  I just put it together and it needs some more posts.

Of course any feedback or suggestions are welcome.

Jeff, the columns don't seem to line up quite right in the user profile area.  My browser has a scrollbar with one of the columns way off to the right.  Using FireFox 3.6.10 on Red Hat linux (64bit) if it helps any.  Other sections look ok.  Attached a screenshot.  Still checking out the rest of the site.

One cool thing you may not have noticed is that you can create your own groups.  Essentially you can start a group that you think should exist (like Edged Weapons if you are an expert ;), keep them in the survival/preparedness genre) and then you can be the default moderator for it.  Please don't just start stupid groups for no real reason.  I'm taking this new web site seriously and I want you to as well.  :)

Damnit Jeff the only thing I am an expert in is trading guns lol So I guess a gun trader group is out of the question ;)

There's a Swap Meet.  If it ends up with a larger user base because it isn't Boise-centric (as here), you should have a much broader selection for your expertise ;)
