Utah CCW

Whats the deal with a Utah CCW? Do you still need the Idaho CCW/Training or ? I currently hold a CCW and my son wants to get his. If he gets a Utah
does it still workout?

Last I heard you had to take a Utah CCW class from a certified instructor. (at least that all I had to do) There are lot's in the area. Idaho CCW is not required as a part of the Utah permit, but having both opens a lot of doors in other states.

Oregon is also easy to get but it's a long drive and you have to do it during the week.

Lot's of classes offered at the Parma Rod and Gun club and other area shooting clubs.

Luvmy45 is correct, you have to take the UTAH class. They don't care about your Idaho CWL. Prints, passport quality photo,completed app, certificate from a Utah certified instructor showing completion of a Utah ciriculm, oh, and a check!
