I must be the last person here to try out the Ultimate Cliploader but man I've got to say it's impressive. I bought one from Jeff a couple weeks ago and finally tried it out today. All you do is dump in up to 50 rounds, close the top and then shove in a magazine and tilt. Shazam it's full and you pull it out. (Well, I did have to adjust the set screw once so all 10 rounds fell in.)

No more buggered up thumb from loading up a brick in one afternoon. You have to chuckle when you see how fast and painless it is.

Nothing else to say - it works and it's only about $25.

You aren't the last Sad   I saw my first one Tuesday night at the Steel Challenge shoot at Emmett.  Sweet!   Especially now that I know where to get them locally!

Well I don't know if Jeff normally carries them. I think the one I got was the only one he had. But definitely check because he has all kinds of good stuff!  Grin

I got it from Brownells for my Challenger III. It didn't work. I don't carry them.

The packaging says the Ultimate Cliploader is only for the Ruger Mark II, III, 22/45 and Browning Buckmark. Because of design differences it doesn't claim compatiblity with the Ruger Mark I or standard non-target Ruger .22LRs but will work with most of those, too. It won't work on Ruger .22s earlier than about 1973 because those frames have the thumb loader button on the opposite side. (Just by eyeing it, it should be easy to add material to the other side of the loader's magazine slot or put a band or hose clamp around that end to mount a screw on the other side if you have a pre-1973 Ruger.)

Other .22 magazines won't fit properly into the slot or the loader's adjustment screw won't contact the thumb loader button properly. It's a shame the company doesn't make other models as the design is ingenious and with little work they could modify it to work with any rimfire or rimmed centerfire cartridge that is loaded into a stacked magazine.

Sorry to cause confusion, I should have been more clear in saying Jeff doesn't carry the Ultimate Cliploader at Sawtac. I expect someone has them locally (pretty sure I saw them at Impact Guns a few years ago but not recently).

I received one of the cliploaders from the guy WTF linked to on Ebay.
The guy waited a week before shipping it out, and I received it a day AFTER I went to the range. Ticked me off stick
So, last Monday I went to the range again and WOW Shocked this thing is great!
No more sore fingers, and fast reloading. Grin All 22lrs should come with one of these.
It is worth every penny.

I know I am resurrecting an old thread, but after tonight at the range for Steel Challenge, I thought this one worthy of a resurrection for loading your mags for a Ruger/Buckmark .22 pistol. A lot people were asking me about mine. So here it is.

All you newer members, if you own a ruger or buckmark .22 pistol, read this thread and go out and buy one...
